The Role:

We believe we have a valuable product that really makes HR professionals happy by automating the most tedious part of their job. We are enthusiastic about connecting people with our solution because we know how much it will improve their job satisfaction. This is the role that has the opportunity to provide that product enthusiasm and confidence to prospective customers.

We are looking for an energetic individual to engage new leads, cultivate inbound leads, and close small to medium-sized deals. This will be accomplished by maintaining outbound call/email campaigns, qualifying inbound leads, and either owning the entire deal or scheduling product demos for others on the sales team to close. Success in this role requires a hunter-mentality, as significant time will be spent on the phone and via email cultivating prospects, following up on leads generated from marketing programs, as well as independent prospecting and other lead generation strategies. Success will be measured by the number of qualified appointments set up that result in sales opportunities and ultimately, new deals.

Success in this role provides a strong growth path to additional sales positions within the organization. All of our current Sales Team members have come up through BDR positions which has provided solid foundations for their current success.

What we hope to see in your background:

  • Ideally 1-2 years experience in a sales-related role. Even better if you have worked at a SaaS company with a B2B product.
  • Organized with ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Passionate about sales, software, mobile and technology
  • High energy with a 'make-it-happen' attitude
  • Motivated and results driven - own a quota and exceed it
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Fast learner - you can independently solve problems through research and hustle
  • Experimental and Analytical - You love analyzing a process, trying new things, and measuring the results in search of ways to improve a process
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
