Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for lead generation and for cultivating those leads into qualified opportunities and scheduled demos for our sales team. In addition to being a necessary duty in generating more demos with right-fit customers, taking leads through the early stages of the pipeline is a powerful way to learn about WorkBright's software and our customers and position the SDR for upward growth within WorkBright. The SDR will have access to all the tools needed for success and tremendous support from our outstanding marketing team. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Salesforce and SalesLoft to document activity and manage prospecting. 
  • Discovering new leads through internet research and social media.
  • Strategize with team to target prospect accounts to fill pipeline.
  • Outbound phone calls each day.
  • Outbound emails each day. 
  • Discovery (qualification) calls each day.
  • Preparing demos for qualified prospects before connecting them with a Business Development Rep (BDR) 
  • Supporting Workbright's marketing efforts by assisting in online and other marketing campaigns. 
  • Achieving, and exceeding, weekly/monthly metrics (activity, appointments, qualified leads, etc.).
  • Responding to inbound customer interest and developing leads to create opportunities.
  • Being prepared for and contributing to strategic weekly pipeline status meetings.
